There are just 980 numbered bottles, all from the 1995 vintage, of a Gran Riserva that Borgo Vecchio aged for ten years before bottling. Like all the distillery’s reserves, it rested in barriques and small casks of no more than 300 litres, in the Ospedaletto barrel cellar, under the seal and control of the Italian Customs Agency, which guarantees the years stated on the label.
It’s a limited edition for collectors and for anyone looking for a special gift, and it comes in its tube bearing the distillery’s wax seal.
