Rice of the last year worked very lightly so as to preserve its full natural characteristics.
It presents stronger fragrances, a more intense taste and higher fibre content with respect to a traditional rice, while still allowing for a shorter cooking time when compared to a fully wholemeal (brown) rice variety.
It can be cooked in just over 15 minutes, less than half the time required for 100% wholemeal rice.
