Borgo Vecchio makes it in Ospedaletto, in the Valsugana valley, from three ingredients: cream, egg yolk and rum. It needs nothing else. To serve it the mountain way, top it with a swirl of cream and a light dusting of cocoa.
It can also be enjoyed at room temperature, so the mountain hut comes home with you, skis or no skis.
