Coppa Piacentina PDO is a cured charcuterie product, obtained from the cervical muscles of heavy pigs born, raised and slaughtered in Emilia Romagna and Lombardy.

Excellent maturation in a fresh & humid underground cellar and, according to the regulations, at least for 6 months to define Piacentina PDO.




Main characteristics:

- Typical smell of pork matured in a natural environment and conditioned by the curing time.

- The color is bright red of the flesh and white of the fat parts

- The taste is delicate and characteristic, sweet and pleasant

- The texture is compact, soft, melting and no-sticky
